Vintage WWII Era 1940s Tailored Suit in Moss Green Wool with A-Line Skirt

  • Product Description

Vintage 1940s suit in a rich moss green wool crepe, with lovely depth to the textured weave. This stylish suit is tailored beautifully in the collarless look that became popular during the war. The three pockets have a surplice chevron detail at the edges, and all are functional.  The jacket is fully lined with a satiny rayon, and has a single button closure. The skirt is ideal - oh, you'll get so much wear from this - it's a gored a-line with deep center front vent. It closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper. A rich color that works in spring and autumn both, this will change season easily with accessories.

This set is clean and ready to be worn! There is a little staining to the lining at the underarms, nothing significant. There is one little pull to the wool on the neckline. I find no other issues to note!
