Vintage Late 30s Day Dress with "Suit" Style and Built in Jersey Dickie
Vintage 1930s dress has the look of a three piece suit! The jacket style stop and swingy gored skirt are black rayon crepe. The "jacket" has working but functionally decorative self-fabric buttons. An inset of bodly beautiful printed rayon jersey, with shirring at the neck for draping mimics the look of a blouse. The same jersey trims the cuffs. The skirt has seven gores at front - three wide, four narrow, and three gores at the back. The dress closes on the side with snaps.

This dress is clean and ready to wear. Oddly, the waist seam is wholly hand stitched, which leads me to believe this was homemade, although it's otherwise nicely done. The fabric is worn off one of the buttons, although this seems odd because the buttons aren't actually used. It still wears beautifully. I find no other issues to note!
