Vintage Late 1930s Summer Gown in Rose Pink with Daisy Floral Print XXS

  • Product Description

This darling 1940s summer gown is breezy and sweet, not to mention an absolute delight to wear. Mae of the lightweight, semi-sheer matte rayon, this beauty feature a bold macro floral print of white daisies. The rose color makes it perfect for warm weather seasons. The sleeves are puffed and the bust is ruched. The fitted basque mid-waist leads to the heavily gathered full length skirt. This beauty closes on the side with snaps

      Shoulders: 13.5
      Bust: 33.5
      Waist: 23
      Hips: 60" (free)

      Label: None Present
      Material: Rayon
      Condition: Good, as is

This dress is clean and is ready to wear. the most notable flaw is that one side of the fine silk ruffle along the top of the bust is broken and dry. I thought about removing it, but it doesn't present badly, and I like the look overall so I'll leave that to the buyer. There is VERY faint yellowing at the underarms. The top of the snap closure has a hand repair. There is a 3/8" hole, hidden in the folds of the skirt, about 7" above the hem, and four scattered tiny pinholes elsewhere. It has been priced with flaws in mind.
