A fantastic 1950s hawaiian sarong dress a fine rayon in the richest hues of brown and gold. It is made of rayon, in a weave that is most like a very, very lightweight and fine faille and has a subtle luster. Print is banana leaves in white and golden hues, and rust colored Caladium, an autumnal take on tropical motifs. The smart matching bolero offers a folded collar. The dress has a structured bodice with six stays and self-fabric lining to support the strapless top. There is a slim strap of self-fabric to use as a halter which attaches at the center front with two hook and eyes The skirt is a wrap sarong style with ties at the left hip. It is styled with excess material to drape perfectly. It closes with a sturdy metal rear zipper.

This dress has been freshly drycleaned and is ready to wear. There's some really, really subtle darkish areas on the bolero - I had a hard time determining if I'm not just seeing shadows in the lustrous fiber, but better safe than sorry. There's some very subtle deodorant stains at the underarms of the dress, but not enough to detract. Held to the light, I found one pinhole low on the front of the sarong. I find no other issues to note!
