Vintage 1930s Wedding Dress - Exquisite Rayon Charmeuse Bias Cut Wedding Gown with Deep Sheer Lace and Diagonal Beaded Trim

  • Product Description

There is nothing like a vintage 1930s bias cut wedding gown to capture the essence of glamour and elegance. This c. 1936 Harlow style gown is made of liquid rayon charmeuse, in a bias cut to pour over your curves from the waist down in the most alluring fashion. It features subtle Dolman sleeves, long, with sheer chantilly lace set into the pointed cuffs. The the bodice that really slays in this piece, though, with a high, sheer neckline of lace, trimmed with hand gathered satin at the neckline, and heavy white and ivory beaded that runs diagonally from neck to the side of the ribs. A low cut crepe lining behind the lace gives you just enough coverage - but not too much, this is still all Old Hollywood allure. The lace is utterly sheer at the back, closing with satin covered buttons. Exquisitely made in a style and detailing you'd never find today.

This is a true size 0, fitting the size 0 mannequin perfectly. You must have slim shoulders and ribcage to get into this piece.

This gown freshly clean and ready to wear. There are three tiny pin-prick sized rust colored spots just above the hem on the left side. There is a small break to the lace near each side seam, and three small breaks to the left of the top button. I find no other issues to note!
