Vintage 1940s blouse is a war-era creation, made of an economy fiber - a celanese blend. There is little I love more in the world of separates than a perfectly printed blouse, and I love that this comes with that taste of history - while natural fabrics were rationed, people explored the new synthetics. This blouse offers apple-green swirlies against a white ground. The swirls are a bit paisley, arranged to look a bit like feathers. The collar is high, and finished with a long, self-fabric kitten bow. The sleeves are full, gathered to fitted cuffs. The waist is darted. The blouse closes up the front with hidden snaps - the buttons are decorative.

This blouse is clean and ready to wear. There is some repaired strain by the right underarm, and one thread pulled out of registry at the left underarm. It is a very sturdy blouse, homemade and ready for years more wear. I find no other issues to note!
