Vintage 1940s sundress is made of a crisp cotton in a fine, slightly rib-textured cotton - it's finer than pique and has a lovely body. This leaves me dreaming of sunhats and perfect peep toe wedges. The bodice has wide straps and a straight neckline edges with black. The black perfectly accents the print, which is curling, vine-like hearts of black and grey filled with yellow blooms. The wide waistband meets with the gathered skirt. The dress closes up the back with buttons.

This dress has been washed and presents nicely. It has been both washed, and was dry cleaned prior to social distancing. They did mis-pressed the black band that trims the neckline, so there are some creases. At the back, the buttons have been moved over, and there's two old self-fabric patches, probably repairing strains at the original location. I find no other issues to note!
