This 1950s ensemble is a lovely, very springtime sort of suit. Made of a woven rayon blend of cornflower blue and white, this looks grey in some lights and periwinkle in others. It's exactly the sort of suit to pair with a perfectly massive floral corsage. The collar is a narrow shawl shape. The shoulders are padded, and there's pleats at the shoulder. The seam from the shoulder runs to the hip, where it becomes part of upside down heart shapes, instead of faux pockets. It closes up the front with glittering glass buttons - probably not original, but an original addition. The jacket is lined with periwinkle rayon crepe. The skirt is a five gored style with center front kickpleat. It closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper.
Label: Wilshire Classic, Styled for Zukor's, Spokane
Material: Rayon blend, Rayon Crepe Lining
Condition: Very Good minus
There are two pinholes on the left side of the collar which are very obviously from a brooch. The lining has some fade at the underarms. I find no other issues to note!
