Vintage late 30s ensemble is springy and fine, a freshly feminine suit of raon crepe. Perfect through spring and summer, the ivory color would make perfect as a wedding suit option, and beyond versatile when it comes to color and accessories! The shoulders are strongly padded. The jacket is softly tailored to the waist with double sets of darts. It is embellished with deeply three-dimensional roses, three to each side, with curling stems and leaves made up of two type of soutache - one, created of self-fabric puping, the other a traditional corde soutache. The sleeves are 3/4 length. The skirt has a flared, flattering a-line with eight gores. Best of all, these pieces wear perfectly together, but can double as separates. The skirt closes with side buttons, the jacket with the self-fabric buttons at the center front.
