Vintage 1930s dress just slays in coral-y red rayon with a fine dobby weave. It's almost a seersucker like texture. This gown is pure dirty 30s hot summer sex on an actual human, so I admit I'm disappointed with the presentation on my dress form -it will look SO much better on you. This beauty features a bust the is divided with a narrow line of shirring which creates a sweetheart shape. This would likely have been worn without a bra, giving that natural silhouette the early 30s so adored. The front panel is a single piece, and not cut on the bias, allowing a graceful columnar shape. The back, however, the back dips lower, and both panels of the skirt are cut on the bias, creating a short mermaid train. It closes up the back with vintage (but not original) mother of pearl buttons. The original belt is included, and the buyer will have their choice of three vintage buckle options.
Length: 61" *remember, the more horizontal stretch you use for your fit, the shorter this will be, so don't worry about that long measurement. I

This dress is very sturdy and ready to wear. The straps appear to have originally been a halter - if you wish to unstitch them and reattach, it can still be easily worn that way. The buttons have been replaced by a previous owner, and the belt buckle will be a vintage replacement. The bust had been taken in, and there is the tinest little cut where I removed the small stitches, right at the edge of the right underarm. There are a few very tiny little snags in the weave on the lower back right panel of the skirt, and one extremely faint spot at the lower front left. This is a STRONG dress, and it wears beautifully. I find no other issues to note!
