Stunning 1940s Tailored Wool Plaid Dressing Gown or Robe
-
Product Description
Vintage 1940s dress gown is the perfect robe for lounging during cold winter days. I am such a fan of quality wool, and if I had to guess, I would say that this is a Pendleton wool plaid. The colors are rich and festive at once - deep forest green, black, red and ivory. The collar is sculpted. The sleeves are cuffed, and there is a single pocket on the right of the hip. The waist closes with interior ties and a single external hook. There are wide belt loops to use with a sash, although the original is no longer present.
✂-----Measurements
Shoulders: 15"
Bust: 34"-37"
Waist: 26-28"
Hips: to 48"
Length: 56"
Label: None Present, although I believe the wool is by Pendleton
Material: Wool
Condition: Very Good
This robe is in very good condition - freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. I am shocked to say I find no moth holes. There are some hand stitched repairs to the underarm seams, done in thread that doesn't match, but it's only visible from the interior. Aside from the missing sash, I find no issues to note! -
