Vintage late 1930s, early 40s swimsuit in a Lastex stretch satin. The color is rich and the textile is lustrous. The cut is superbly flattering, with a divided bust and sleek fit through the mid section. Rayon jersey lines the bust. The straps attach with buttons, and may be tied as a halter or crossed. The suit slips on with no closures.

This suit is clean, sturdy and ready to wear. The panel on the front and back right is a slightly different dye lot than the rest. There are some scuffs to the satin. The elastic at the legs is a little ripply, as if it's a little shrunk with time. There are scattered holes throughout the jersey lining at the interior front and crotch. I find nothing else to note! The suit wears beautifully.
