This gorgeous Edwardian dress will wear so much better on a real person than on my dress form. Made of embroidered muslin with a dual layered skirt, you could easily wear this without need for extra layers. The bodice is somewhat unusual, featuring Dolman sleeves that further accentuate the bloused style. The lightweight lingerie cotton lining also works as a built-in dickie, with a lace trimmed collar mimicking a blouse. The skirt and sleeves have narrow rows of faggotting in addition to the floral embellishment. The dress closes with a complex series of snaps long the side, waist and center front.

The dress is overall sturdy, has been very gently hand laundered and is ready to wear. The delicate fabric of the collar has three shredding spots by the right neckline, but you don't see them at all when worn. There is a tear on the lower left of the collar, hidden when worn. It appears someone in the past tried to color the outer flower on each sleeve cuff with a weak dye - a touch of hot pink remains on each but it's been largely washed away with time. I find no other issues to note!
