A gorgeous, high piece, this 1950s dressing gown was original sold at Bullocks Wilshire "Collegienne" shop. Made of an absolutely decadent and soft silk crepe de chine, it is printed with darling little six-point stars in green, aqua and fuchsia, all bold on the midnight blue ground. The neckline is high, a mandarin style taking inspiration from cheongsam. The robe is a wrap closure, and can either be worn with wide lapels, or with the collar buttoned high to the left side. There is a single pocket on the right side. The self-fabric sash is still present. It closes with internal ties, a snap on the waist, and button at the shoulder.
Label: Bullocks Wilshire Collegienne
Condition: Very Good minus
This garment is clean and ready to wear. There is a little strain to the silk at the front darts, nothing significant. This wears beautifully - I find no other issues to note.
