Every once and a while in this business, you see a garment or a textile a second time. This blouse delights me, because it's the second time I've had this print, but the last time I saw it, it was on cold rayon in a late 30s dress, where it's cotton for this blouse, This style is on the border with the 1940s, a perfectly puff sleeved darling with peter pan collar and self-fabric ties. It's a perfect piece to pair with a jumper or separate of any decade - it's quite versatile. I love the print of violets, too, I have a special soft-spot for them.
The dress it is paired with can be purchased here: https://fabgabs.com/products/sassy-1950s-coral-slubbed-linen-sleeveless-day-dress
This has no darts, and is best for a small or extra small, tied to fit at the waist.

This blouse is clean and ready to wear. At some point, someone tied the ties too snugly, and caused clean vertical tears the fabric to the left of the forth and fifth buttons. I have interfaced those two spots, and stitched the buttons and the repairs down to the placket on the interior. The flaws are not visible at all when worn, and it's now quite sturdy again. A rare and darling piece.
