940s vintage suit is such a smart, sporty style. The jacket has massive shoulder pads and a cropped cut. The sleeves are full, coming to a fitted cuff. The waistband is wide and fitted. Two buttons close the jacket, one at the neck and one at the waist, with a narrow open space in between. It is fully lined. The skirt is slightly flared, and closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper. It is shorter than I believe it original was, most likely altered to a shorter length to keep the suit relevant in the 50s.

This suit is clean and ready to wear. The jacket has a single small chew at the back right shoulder. There are four patched holes in the skirt, not visible when worn. These are older iron on patches, not done by me, but it looks good enough that I don't want to undo and replace them. I find no other issues to note
