Vintage 1950s suit is a luxury item in sleek, exceptionally high quality gabardine. The color is true, vibrant and saturated red, a cherry lipstick hue it will be hard to resist. The collar is winged, which complements the decorative flaps on the hip pockets. The lining is a pale red acetate satin. The skirt is very slightly a-line with a center pleat detail. It closes on the side with a replacement zipper.
Label: None Present
Material: Gabardine, Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good, as is with small flaws
This suit is clean and ready to wear. The skirt has a replacement zipper. The hip pockets should be working pockets, but someone secured the buttons through them so that one can't get one's hand inside. One of those buttons is missing on the right. There is a small moth chew on the left side of the collar, and the tops of two buttons are rubbed. There is other little surface nibble on the left sleeve and one at the right underarm. One on the skirt has an old repair. The sum total of the flaws sounds worse than it is, the suit is sturdy and wears beautifully.
