Smart 1940s Navy Blue and White Seersucker Summer Ensemble with Skirt and Belted Back Jacket
Vintage 1940s summer suit in a blue and white striped cotton seersucker. This set is going to be a dream on a hot summers day - lightweight and breathable, yet remarkably stylish. The jacket is tailored through the waist to ensure a sleek silhouette, and offers pockets at either hip. The A line skirt is casual yet flirty, and features a front box pleat. This suit will look lovely paired with bold colors like yellow or cherry red. The jacket closes with white plastic buttons up the front, while the skirt closes with buttons down the side.
Shoulders: 13" (But with puffs for additional length)
Label: There is a label, but the contents have worn off.
Material: Cotton Seersucker
Condition: Very Good minus
This piece is clean and ready to wear. On the blouse there is a tiny area of weakness to the top layer of fabric beneath the waist button hole of the top and the button hole has been reinforced. There is a dime sized subtle mark on the back of the hip of the blouse and very faint tiny mark on the front of the hip. On the skirt there are two tiny pulls in the fabric. There is one pin sized mark on the front, and four on the back. I find no other issues to note.
