Sleek 1930s Homemade Skirt of Black Silk Crepe de Chine
Vintage homemade 1930s skirt in a lovely black silk crepe. This is slim cut through the high waist and hips, and then flares to hem - the gores are very subtly scalloped, which isn't apparent when worn, but adds to the soft, fluttering effect. There is no defined waistband. It closes on the side with snaps.

Material: Silk Crepe de Chine
Condition: Good, as is
This skirt is clean and ready to be worn. It is homemade, so some of the seams aren't perfect, but it's solidly made. There is one small area of stitch marks where it looks like the original maker had a course correction and had to pull out a couple inches of stitches. I find nothing else to note!
