Vintage 1950s piece is homemade of absolutely killer, bright and glittering cotton-core metallic yarn. The upper is more tightly knit and opaque, while the midriff is an open, lace-like stitch that allows the midriff to look bare. It isn't, of course- the maker lined this piece with a soft silk chiffon in a peachy hue. You'll want to keep this lining in even if it isn't your skin tone, as the metallic thread is not terribly soft. The sleeves are finished with a third stitch style. It closes at the back of the neck with buttons.
Bust: 38" - 42"
Label: None Present, Homemade
Material: Cotton Core Metallic Wrapped Yarn
Condition: Good plus
This garment is clean and ready to wear. The backside of the top has more wear to the metallic wrapping of the yarn than the front, I presume from rubbing against seats and such - the front has almost none of this sort wear. It is homemade, and the peak of the midriff is not 100% lined up with the center of the neckline. I find no other issues to note.
