First off: this dress is definitely faded, but it doesn't look NEARLY as dramatic in person. The bright lights and high exposure combined to make sure you see EVERYTHING - even stuff you don't notice at all with the naked eye. It's a darker periwinkle than captured here, too. I would say the fade is 50% less notable in person, if not a bit better than that.
A cute frock of rayon crepe in a deep periwinkle blue hue. This late 30s dress is such a wearable cut. The sleeves are puffed with headers at the shoulder. The neckline is high with a smart collar, and the bodice closes with hidden snaps. The skirt is gored and has darling shirred hip pockets. It closes on the side with a button placket.

This dress has good bones. As is obvious, as discussed above, the dress has fade. This is most visible at the shoulders, sleeves and a bit at the base of the hem. There is a small hole at the back of the neck. From the interior, it's clear a number of seams have been reinforced, mostly with white thread on a machine but a few have small hand stitched areas. The dress is flawed, but it's cute and sturdy, and priced with condition in mind.
