Fantastic late 30s blouse was almost certainly original a dress, converted during the war. It's a gorgeous plum color, more rich than these photos show. The collar is accented with detailed sequin and beadwork appliques that I think were taken from a different 30s dress. The sleeves are puffed, padded into the shoulder, and half length. The back of the neck closes with the fanciest zipper I've ever seen, and the side closes with a snap and hook and eye. This blouse is featured in the lookbook with the Hawthorne Pinafore in Aviation Blue which can be found here: https://fabgabs.com/products/jitterbuggin-1940s-style-reproduction-pinafore-jumper-four-color-options
Label: None Present
Material: Cotton Velveteen
Condition: Very Good minus
As noted, this was almost certainly converted from a dress. The bottom of the neck zipper has been stitched up to keep it from going off track. There is a bit of fraying at the edges of the sequin details, nothing significant. I find no other issues to note!
