Vintage 1940s jacket is such a rare and sporty style - I see it more in magazines than I do in person. The plaid gives the sophisticated style an almost casual, outdoors feel. It is single breasted, closes with self-fabric buttons via diagonal button holes. The neckline is high, the collar is wide. The sleeves are full cut and cuffed. At the back, gathers to the waist create that sporty, bloused fit that is hard to resist. Lined in rayon crepe.

This jacket is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. There is a single small moth chew on the left sleeve, another on the mid back, and I've darned two larger ones on the right sleeve. Each cuff is missing a button, likely moved in the past to the center front. The interior lining has large patches at the back of the shoulders, which looks a bit wonky, but it's also charming, and would never be seen from the exterior. I find no other issues to note!
