Vintage late 1930s dress is an absolute dream dress in rosy pink. This beauty features puffed sleeves with small pads, a bodice constructed in bias cuts and pictucks. and a heavily draping skirt with pleats that open low. The pintucked sleeves are the longest they can be, and still be "short." They have pleats at the shoulder ad small pads to reinforce their peaked shape. The bodice has a high neckline. Two panels of pintucks, set on the bias, create drape in the bodice. The center of the bodice is wedge of unadorned material. The skirt is pleated all the way around, with pleats that open nearly a foot under the waistline. There are belt loops present so you can pair the dress with a sash. This darling piece closes with a sturdy metal side zipper and a bell zipper at the back of the neck.

This dress is sturdy and ready to wear. I didn't trust my drycleaner with this many pintucks, so it has not been cleaned. There is a tiny edge of soil along the top of the shoulders - it's really minor - and one small spot above the pintucks on the bodice, and near the center where the pintucks start. There is one small pinhead sized hole at the upper back left shoulder, and one just above the center of the waist at back. I find no other issues to note - the dress is very strong, even in color and seems to have been worn relatively little.
