Rare Late 1920s/Early 1930s Cotton Feedsack Jumpsuit in Deco Era Floral With Orange and Yellow Trim, Wide Legs

  • Product Description

It's hard to find genuine cotton beach pajamas these days! And these are exactly the ones you want, in a borderline 29/-32 sort of style and print. These crisp cotton cuties are a true rarity, one piece, printed in a deco era floral of grey and white punctuated with pops of cornflower blue, yellow and orange-red. Bands of yellow, orange and black piping make up the collar, and wide sash. Black piping accents seams and black buttons close it diagonally along the bodice and side. The legs are wide and flared, finished with a hem of the same yellow and orange cotton trims. These appear to have been homemade, so are truly a one of a kind vintage piece.

This piece has been very gently handwashed and is ready to wear. There is some mild yellowing at the underarms. There are some tiny little marks at the back underarm area, very minimal little smudges. There's one light brown line, about the length of a thumbnail, low on the right leg, with two tiny, faint dots next to it. There is one nickle sized spot at the front left leg hem. I find no other issues to note, these wear beautifully.
