Vintage late 1920s or early 30s robe is really special, made of a sturdy, strong, sleek silk jersey. The base color is jet black, trimmed with collar, cuffs and hem of coral pink. The shape and presentation is kimono inspired - straight with long, wide sleeves. Floral tulip appliques in red and pale green make a statement on the center back and at each cuff. The original self-fabric sash is still present. Absolutely rare and delightful.

Label: Jack Frost Woolen Mills
Material: Silk Jersey
Condition: Good minus, flawed but sturdy and wearable
This robe has been ozoned by a professional cleaner and is ready to wear. Because dyes in these robes can be unstable, I didn't attempt any spot removal or chemicals. The hemline has bleached out spots throughout the back right side - see close up for clarity. This takes up a bit more than 1' of the hem. There is a water spot to the coral trim at the lower right front. The trim around the hem has some holes, two at the right front that I think are snags that frayed, and two at the back that look like little moth nips. There is one more on the coral trim about chest height on the left. The silk is still sturdy, and the colors are bright. The flaws don't affect wear at all - this should be glorious to lounge in. Priced about half of what I would without flaws.
