Vintage 1930s dress is a true rarity in a deep and rich wool boucle. Unlike the boucle of the 50s, this is not a knit, although the bodice has some give from being cut on the bias - rather, it is a highly textured woven fabric. This features a really unique embellishment that I had never seem before - tambour lace executed in wool on a sturdy cotton net. This beautiful work makes up the sleeves and cuts into the shoulders. The bodice has lovely deco piece work. The skirt is a perfectly, slightly flared a-line, made up four gores at the front and three at back. And the color - this color is so rich and saturated and works brilliantly for both autumn and holiday. It closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper, and other at the back of the neck.

This dress is clean and ready to wear. I have invisibly darned one moth chew on the front of the bodice (you'll only find it on the interior) and three at the left front of the skirt. The underarms are a little lightened from very old deodorant, but I have treated them to the best of my ability, and this does not stand out. I find no other issues to note!
