Vintage early 1940s day dress is bright and fresh and lovely in sleek cold rayon. You might mistake it's sheen for fade in the photos, but that's just the lovely, slightly lustrous rayon/celanese blend catching the light. The print is big, bold bouquets The sleeves are puffed, and the neckline is a sweetheart shape edged with self-fabric piping. The skirt is perfectly flared. . It's the pert, flirty silhouette of the early 40s, and I love it. It closes on the side with snaps.
Waist: 29" (belts down as small as 26" very nicely)
Length: 43" +2" at hem

Material: Rayon-Celanese Blend

This dress is clean and ready to wear. A number of belts in this collection were remade by the previous owner - this belt is present, but I think the original belt fabric is casing a newer lining. The top of the shoulders has some mild fade. There are tiny little water spots scattered throughout, all REALLY subtle, that I think my steamer may have caused. It's nothing you'd see when worn. I find no other issues to note!
