Vintage 1930s dress is a homemade charmer of slippery sleek cold rayon. Purple pansies and tiny white posies float on a navy ground. The neckline opens and hooks closed. Three pintuck pleats band the yoke front and back. The sleeves, puffed to the fitted cuff, are split open, and faced with textured ivory rayon. The skirt is gored, and the dress closes on the side with snaps. A sweet dark floral, perfect for pairing with a lush felt corsage and smart hat. Another one I deeply wish I had a model for!

Material: Cold Rayon
Condition: Good, as is
This dress is clean and ready to wear. It has been delicately handwashed and steamed. There is still some yellowing to the white trim on the sleeves. Maybe the most notable flaw is that the maker deemed to forget to make the neckline opening, and then awkwardly cut and machine finished it with ribbon facing. There is a small stain at the bottom of the opening. There is a pulled thread on the center back. I find no other issues to note. Priced with imperfections in mind.
