Lovely 1940s Lilac Rayon Crepe Dress with V Neckline and Clever Waist Accents
A lovely early 1940s rayon dress is flattering and springy in lilac hue. The dress is incredibly flattering with v neckline framed with pleats. The back of the dress has an inset belt, which wraps around each side of the waist - the material around them is gathered around them for a unique draped effect. Scallops outline the hips. The skirt has a saucy fit with four flared gores, a classic c. 1939-41 shape. The dress closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper.

Material: Rayon Crepe
Condition: Good, very wearable, as is
This dress is stunning and wears beautifully. It is freshly dry cleaned. The flaws are minor, and I didn't noticed some of them until I inspected it very closely. There is mild fade at the top of the shoulders, and a bit more on the left sleeve, along with the left side and hem of the skirt. The skirt has a very faint water line and some faint, speckled foxing, both of which lifted more than 80% at the cleaners. It looks much better in person than this description does on paper!
