A fresh, soft and not-quite-sheer cotton makes this sweet embroidered 1900s blouse. Elegantly finished with whitework embroidery of a climbing floral motif, this blouse is intended to be tucked a bit differently than I've styled it. Originally, you'd wear this with the excess fabric tucked loosely to the front for a pigeon breasted effect, and it will be a wonderful mixing piece with a historic wardrobe. But it also wears beautifully with a tighter tuck, and has a crisp by romantic look that is hard to resist. This closes up the back buttons, accented with pintucks to each side. The cuffs are finished with embroidery and a touch of lace.
