Killer 1950s Wrap Style Rainbow Striped Hostess Robe or Dressing Gown in Full Swing Style with Sash

  • Product Description

Vintage 1950s dressing gown is a knockout. And make no mistake - while I'd never tell you this was originally a dress, I will happily say that you should wear it as one- or as an evening coat over a coordinating solid dress. Cut in a fully, swingy style, it offers a narrow collar and dramatic dolman sleeves.Glossy ribbon stripes of aqua, peach, pink, yellow and sky blue are edged with white and divided by bands of black. The waist is free, but meant to be cinched in. We have shown it both with and without a crinoline - tied with the belt wrapped to the back as a dress or in front as a robe. It has no closures aside from the belt.

To wear as a dress, these are the recommended maximums.
Bust: from 35 (shown) to maximum 42"
Waist: from 25" (shown) to a maximum of 33"
Hips: hips are fairly free - max is probably 48" for a good wrap coverage
      Length: 44.5"

Sash can be wrapped around the body twice on a waist up to 28"

      Actual measurements:
      Bust: 48"
      Waist: 52"
      Hips: 66"
      Length: 44.5"

      Label: Maxan
      Material: Rayon and acetate
      Condition: Very Good

This stunner is clean and ready to wear. I find no issues to note - it is clean and fresh.
