Indispensible 1950s Two Tone White and Navy Blue Slip

  • Product Description

Absolutely one of the best sorts of slips ever created, this 1950s two-tone slip is the perfect lingerie solution for "light blouse, dark skirt." This Vanity Fair rendition is quite elegantly styled with wide lace, pleated nylon and a divided bust. The white upper joins the navy skirt with a basque line. Like most slips, this slips over the head and has no closures.

Marked a Vanity Fair size 36

      Bust: 37"-39"
      Waist: 29.5" - 31"
      Hips: 41"
      Length: 41"

      Label: Vanity Fair
      Material Nylon
      Condition: Very Good minus

This garment is clean and ready to wear. There's a line of very tiny snags right on the waist, nothing significant. The skirt has been taken up by making a pleat around the hem above the lace - a common way of adjusting the length of a slip. The straps have been folded and shortened with a hand stitch. Both they and the hem can be let out if you need a longer fit.
