Vintage late 1940s/very early early 1950s dress in sleek, slippery rayon-acetate blend. This dress is delightful, featuring a carnival themed prints of organ grinders with their monkeys and balloon men surrounded by children. Bright fuchsia and chartreuse pop against a cool blue. Short sleeves and a clever collar flatter the shirtwaist bodice. This pretty dress closes with a side metal zipper. There's shallow pockets at each hip for style more than function. A metal zipper closes the dress along the side. This is only a bit big for me, and I'm super sad, this print and palette really get me.
Please forgive the small number of modeled shots. Somehow I managed to corrupt half the files from this shoot, and didn't know until I was listing.

This dress is clean and ready to be worn. There's no strain or undersarm discoloration - it's very fresh. I found two small spots hidden in the busy print of the skirt, hard to find even with careful examination. It's a lovely piece, and a rare find in this size!
