Vintage 1940s - c. 1946 dress in a pale, subtle lilac color with exceptional drape. The color can look cooler or warmer in different lights, and it's just to the purple side if you had to choose between purple and pink. The styling is dramatically asymmetric, with both surplice bodice and pointed peplum swept up, pleated to the left side. The skirt below that piece is pleated for movement and soft drape. The dress closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper, Three large rhinestone stars embellish the left side as well. The original belt is not shown here, but is present and included.
Label: Massar Original, Paris, New York
Condition: Very Good minus
This dress is clean and ready to wear. There is one tiny smudge on the waist by the zipper, and the center stop is missing from the top rayon star. . There is VERY faint underarm staining, nothing that would be noted without inspection, and some mild fade on the top of the shoulders. I find no other issues to note!
