Vintage late 1930s, early 40s swimsuit in a Lastex stretch satin. The black is textured from the way it is woven, and utterly lustrous. The cut is superbly flattering, with a divided bust and sleek fit through the mid section before the skirt flares out flirtatiously. Cotton knit lining makes up the interior, including the attached panties. The straps attach with buttons, and may be tied as a halter or crossed. The suit has a sturdy metal zipper at the back

This suit is clean, sturdy and ready to wear. There are a few little scuffs to the satin texture. The skirt rolls a bit at the hem, although it only adds to the flirty shape. The button holes were stretched out, so I have sewn them more snugly. There's some extra buttons at an odd placement on straps. I find nothing else to note! The suit wears beautifully.
