My absolutely favorite of the collection of suits I've put together, this late 30s ensemble is just powerful - the lines are so phenomenal. Made of a crisp wool crepe and lined with rayon crepe, there's just nothing superfluous in the design. It is a tie-front closure, and that corded tie is the sole embellishment. The shoulders are heavily padded, and there's crisp pleats at each shoulder. The jacket overlaps where it ties. The skirt is long, sleek and straight, closing on the side with a sturdy metal zipper. This piece will be a versatile mixer in your collection, easily worn together - and I LOVE this suit together - or separately. The lines of the skirt would be perfect with 30s knit tops, and the jacket will be a bold lined touch on top of printed frocks.
Label: Country Club Coat, California (and the lettering is SO deco)
Material: Wool, Rayon
Conditon: Very Good
There is a tiny bit of rubbing at the top of the braided cord. I find no other issues to note, this suit is exceptionally clean and fresh.
