Vintage 1950s dress features a beautiful use of colorblocking. Chartreuse, milk chocolate brown and warm cream combine to make a dress that feels like summer and looks like autumn. The front is flattering and almost simple - a deep chevron halter, a touch of brown, and then a perfect fit all in cream, with pockets at the hips to accent your curves. At back, the chartreuse straps are dual layered - I've shifted them on the form so you can see what I mean. One set supports the dress, the other crossed over the back of the bodice to the waist, meeting the waterfall draping of color at the center back of the skirt. You will adore the way this fits! The dress closes on the side with a sturdy metal zipper.
