Gorgeous 1940s British Made Martin White Bathing Suit in Ruched Printed Satin
Vintage late 1930s swimsuit in a vibrant floral print Lastex stretch satin. Martin White is the British swimwear maker who invented the Telescopic bathing suit, and I tend to really adore his designs. This is a bold blue and white wildflower price on lustrous satin. The center is flat, cut on the bias, and the balance of the suit - sides, button, back and halter are all ruched for a curve hugging fit. This just slips on with no closures.
Bust: 22" - 35"
Waist: 24" - 32"
Hips: 24" - 40"
Leg Openings: 18"-28" (cut on a high diagonal under the skirt)
Label: Made in England, Martin White
Material: Satin, Elastic
Condition: Good plus
This suit is clean, sturdy and ready to wear! The center of the bust looks restitched. There is a yellowed spot on the back left side of the hip. I find no other issues to note!
