Vintage 1950s dress is made of a sturdy, quality cotton with phenomenal print. So compelling, in print that layers detail, graphic blue roses over bars of black and white. Black buttons run from the smart collar to the hips. The half sleeves have matching double buttons, and cuff up smartly.. The early 50s skirt silhouette is full and sweeping with knife pleats, it looks fabulous worn paired with a crinoline or worn without. A sturdy, soft cotton with striking motif.
Label: Abby-Kent New York
Condition: Good, as is
This dress is crisp, fresh and ready to wear. There is some VERY subtle black color transfer under the arms - just a bit of blurring to the black bars. The most notable issue is that the edges and closure of the cuffs are quite frayed - I have no idea why, as the dress seems so sturdy and they aren't in a place where they would normally rub much. There is some more of this on the back of the collar. Despite these flaws, this wears beautifully, but it has been priced down considerable with imperfections in mind.
