Vintage late 1930s - c. 1939/40 dress in a gorgeous fuchsia rayon crepe - this color is quintessential for the era, and the dress is a shape and length that can work for everything from daywear to cocktail hour. The silhouette starts with the strongly padded shoulders and pleating that creates a draped neckline. Three-quarter length sleeves are darted for a perfect, functional fit. The skirt is sleek and draped to the left-side for a faux sarong look. This babe closes with a sturdy metal hooks up the left side and self-fabric buttons at the back of the neck

This dress is clean and ready to wear. There is some very mild fade at the top of the shoulders - this is so mild I almost didn't catch it. There is subtle water spotting in the skirt that didn't lift at the dry cleaner - it's two spots that are mirrored from and back (so definitely from storage) but luckily don't stand out.. I find no other issues to note, This dress wears beautifully.
