Fantastic 1960s Lilli Ann Colorblock Striped Knit Coat with Attached Scarf
-
Product Description
An iconic 1960s Lilli Ann, this colorblock striped coat has always been one of my favorites her knit years. Made before the switch to the "Lilli Ann Knits" label, it has a fantastic silhouette, just a tiny bit tailored with a-line shape. The bars of cool pewter grey and warm ivory will make this work with just about an outfit. The neckline is an attached scarf, that snaps into place. The coat is lined with rayon crepe. It has deep working pockets - and there's a pair of the original owner's earrings in the right handside. I've left them there, because I think that's charming.

This gorgeous coat is sturdy and reading to wear. There is a little yellowing at the inner fold of the scarf neckline The scarf has two little surface moth nips and a light smudge. There's a moth nibble that I've darned on the back of the right sleeve. The lower center back hem area has a cluster of maybe 8 little moth nibbles. These are all little surface things, and won't be noted except on close inspection. -
