Vintage 1940s Suit. This fantastic designer suit is something out of the best 1940s dream. Made from the softest suede imaginable. Bright olive green jacket with strong shoulders, nipped waist, large cuffed half sleeves, and high neckline. Colorblocked tan and green belt is the perfect contrast. The skirt is made from yards of light honey brown suede and fastens with a metal zipper down the side.

This suit presents gorgeously, and is infinitely sturdy and wearable. The jacket shows a touch of wear on and just above the cuffs. Just below the left shoulder in the front, there's a small cluster of little picks in the suede. My guess is this is from a brooch. There are a couple scattered tiny marks on the leather, but nothing substantial. There is very mild darkening/stiffening directly under the arms. At the waist closure, the top closure has a small hole where the hook is sewn. On the under closure, with the eye, there are a series of small pricks and tiny pinholes. on the other side of the waistband there is another small area of wear to the leather. This skirt was worn by someone who wasn't quite the right measurements. There are four tiny holes next to the zipper on the skirt. There are scattered tiny marks and scuffs on the skirt, consistent with the age of the suede. There is one slightly larger than the rest near the hem on the side seam in the back, roughly the side of a pencil eraser. The leather has worn off of the belt buckle on the side with the brown leather. I find no other issues to note.
