Fantastic 1940s Cotton Whipcord Colorblock Ski Jacket with Laced Sides
Vintage 1940s ski jacket is absolutely fantastic! Made of sturdy cotton whipcord in off-white and medium blue, the tailoring is sporty and flattering at once. The piece is double breasted, closing optionally to the neck with a total of ten octagonal buttons. My favorite part is probably yours as well - the blue laces on the side, although that point at the back is pretty stellar, too.
Best fits a medium, despite curvy measurements, as there's no darts, and it's intended to be worn over other warm clothes.
Label: Professional Mode, Cravenette Processed, Snowproof
Material: Cotton Whicord
Condition: Good, as is
This jacket has been both hand laundered and dry cleaned and is ready to wear. There are some light, very small, scattered spots on the front. The back of the sleeves have light, rust colored staining (see last images) that didn't completely lift. Honestly, this wouldn't bother me, but it's definitely present and makes this not a good fit for a collector of perfect vintage items. It's VERY strong and will last decades to come.
