Fab 1940s Belted Half-Length Coat in Periwinkle Blue Wool and Grey Astrakhan Lamb Trim

  • Product Description

Vintage early 40s coat is so much perfection - swing tailored with a self-fabric belt and trimmed with lux fur. The mix of rich blue and silver Astrakan lamb create a chill, wintry beauty. It has beautifully padded shoulders and deep shoulder pleats for further emphasis. The high collar, cuffs, front placket and button are all trim of grey lamb fur, The interior is lined with silver rayon blend satin. It closes with a hidden hooks, button, and the wide self-fabric belt

This is a periwinkle blue, the color is richer than the images

This coat is clean and ready to wear. There is some wear to the lamb at the collar and along edges, with little bald spots - because of the light color of the fur, this doesn't stand out. I found two very tiny nicks to the wool texture that might be moth chews, and one small spot that is hidden when the coat is closed, but see nothing else to note!
