A truly stunning 1950s or early 1960s era kimono with a breathtaking spring palette. The fine silk brocade is printed with bamboo, cherry blossoms and other lush interpretive flora. The brocade is very detailed with Japanese text on scrolls. The upper of the interior if lined with red, the lower with a pink silk featuring a chrysanthemum brocade. The sleeves are dramatic and long, lined with both pink and red.
This kimono should fit a range of sizes from extra small to large. It is not pinned on the dress form.

This kimono is clean and ready to wear. There is some fade at the upper back, collar, and a little also at the upper front, but even more subtle. There are some mild stains, largely hidden by the print, on the first panel of the left front, that would be hidden when worn sashed. There is one other small spot on the left shoulder.
