Elegant Early 1940s Rosy Beige Soutache Jacket in Crisp Silk and Wool
Fantastic 1940s jacket style blouse is sleek and flattering, and really, it's even better in person. These photos wash out the warm pink-ish beige hue, doing it absolutely no justice at all - it's a shade right between beige and rose. The silhouette is perfection, with padded shoulders, three quarter sleeves, and a slimming waist. The detailed buttons are a pale purple, while the spectacular soutache is the same tone as the crisp cloth of the jacket, which tests as a silk/wool blend. This piece is unlined.
This beauty has been taken in in the past, and can be let out a bit over 1" along each side.
Label: None Present
Material: Rayon Crepe
Condition: Very Good minus
This blouse is has been freshly fry cleaned and is ready to wear. There is very minor soil to the buttons, and a subtle stain on the right side of the blue, at the level of the 7th and 8th buttons - I thought this might lift at the cleaners, but it didn't. Luckily it is faint and well disguised by the golden soutache. This rare beauty wears beautifully.
