A striking 1940s dress in lovely, drapey rayon crepe. The robin's egg blue is a fantastic spring hue, both soft and striking at once. The shoulders are strong. The neckline is a v shape, with pleats to each side, and a high attached drape that gives the dress a key-hole effect. The three-quarter sleeves are cuffed. The skirt features three deep, pleated tiers, which angled at back, meeting a center drape of self-fabric. This gown closes with a zipper at the center back.

This dress has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear. The underarms have rings of color movement - NOT yellowing - from previous hot days, but the fit and draping keeps this unseen unless your arms are raised. There is a single tiny snag with a broken fiber on the skirt,. hidden under the second tier. There is some mild fade at the shoulders and neckline.
