I knew this 1940s hat was quality the second my fingers touched it. The felt isn't stamped, but I feel confident it is either partially or fully fur felt. It's soft, fine. pliable. Sold at Rhodes Department Store in Seattle, this piece is styled with inspiration taken from the "gambler" style of western hat. The crown is flat, the brim upturned at the edge. It's finished with a self-fabric band and bow. The interior is trimmed with rayon grosgrain.
Now that the USPS is charging by dimensional weight, wider brimmed hats are costly to ship. If shipping costs less than what you pay, I will process a refund.

Ready to wear. There is a tiny bit of makeup soil where it meets the head, just a tiny bit on the felt but a bit more on the grosgrain- I cleaned most of it away when I bought it, but vintage makeup is stubborn, and bit remains. I find no other issues to note!
