Vintage 1930s dress in a dramatic, paint style floral. The richness of the colors - violet and coral red, tangerine and lemon are bold against the deep blue. The sleeves are oversized and puffed. Two chevrons of blue points toward the bust. They are finished with bows. The panels are bias cut and flared, falling in soft folds to the ground. The dress closes on the side with snaps.

This dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. It is imperfect, but sturdy and wearable. Throughout the navy areas of the dress there is speckled, reddish fade spotting, very similar to foxing but not quite the same. There is more in the skirt than on the bodice. It's quite visible up close, but from any distance does not stand out. The side closure has a 1 1/2" reinforced repair at the top, under the arm. Held to the light, there are three tiny holes in the skirt. The dress is sturdy and wears beautifully.
